March 28 - 30 we spent with Grandpa Karl, Grandma Wendy, and Uncle Henry.
Friday night Mike, Wendy and Maddie went to the Jazz game where the Jazz beat the Clippers and Maddie got to meet Thurl Bailey!

Swimming
While they were gone, the rest of the Sandbergs played in the pool. Well, I forgot my suit, so I supervised them in the pool. And, actually Jack's eardrum had burst the week before, so he could only get in up to his belly button (how sad/mad was he?)
Katie had a great time.
Ryan found the hot tub rather on the hot side.
When Grandpa Karl got home from Tooelle, Katie was the first to greet him. She was a little tired by that point.
Pottery
Saturday morning Mike went to play golf, Grandpa slept in, and Wendy and I took the kids to a pottery studio where you can glaze ready made ceramics.
Katie and Jack had a lip thing going on.
Katie decided part way through that she didn't like her doggie and Grandma had to talk her through it.
Katie's wee hand. I love toddler hands!
Ryan and Maddie had a tongue thing going.
Concentration . . .
The Movie
That afternoon Grandpa and Mike went golfing and Wendy and Emily took the kids to see Horton Hears a Who. While at the movie theater, Ryan stood in for Patrick Dempsy's bride. Isn't he pretty?
Birthday Shopping
Jack and Grandma Wendy did a little birthday shopping before the movie. Jack came home with a spy car. That's a remote control car with a camera on it. The controller is attached to an eyepiece that allows you to see images from the camera. Henry had a good time with that as well as with the new nerf gun that you can set to "automatic" and shoot 20 darts, rapid fire. Pretty cool.
