Darling, I am thrilled you had a great day, complete with a few of our favorite neighbors joining us for FHE Charades . . .
But, let's face it, this picture has got to be all about the cake!
I had no idea when you casually suggested a chocolate and peanut butter cake that this beauty would be the result.
I would just like to state, for this official record, it's
three layers of chocolate sour cream cake
with peanut butter sour cream frosting
with a dark chocolate peanut ganache spilling over the edges.
Put that on your plate and eat it . . . . (I suggest a thin slice; it's very rich!)

P.S. for posterity's sake: the clock in the picture is always wrong (I am cheap and lazy, so I don't replace the battery nearly as often as is required to keep the correct time, which is about every three days.) This picture was taken at approximately 6:45 pm on July 19, 2010.
