Jack's baseball season started this month.
After the first practice, his comment was, "Mom, our coach really wants us to win."
Since then he has learned how to play Angel Ball.
When Angels play ball, they throw Bee-bees, not rainbows.
When Angels play ball, they start in ready position.
Angels always swing the bat as hard as they can.
And they run all the way through first base.
... and chose to dodge the first few pitches.
Then Coach Todd, in a characteristically enthusiastic manner, took a ball and started hitting Jack all over his gear with it.
"See? It can't hurt you through your gear!"

Some very hands on coaching ensured a successful game--Angels won
17 to 3.

After the game Coach Todd wanted to know if everyone had fun.
He wanted to know if everyone would be at practice to learn how to hit, catch, and throw better.
He wanted to know if they were ready to play some more Angel Ball.
We like Coach Todd, and we love Angel Ball. It's fun to play, and it's fun to watch.
